Pick Your Own Flowers

Sundays 10am – 4pm

How does Pick Your Own work?

The cost is £25, to pick flowers of your choice into one of my florist buckets.

I provide a florist bucket and a pair of flower snips, so you can cut your flowers straight into a bucket of cool fresh water. I can help you with the best way to cut each type of flower stem and how to condition your flowers, so they last as long as possible in a vase.

It is a good idea to bring a clean bucket of your own to transport your flowers home in, so they can continue to have a good drink on the way home.

If you would like your flowers wrapped into a farm style bouquet, I can do this for you.

Enjoy relaxing and exploring all of the flowers in the PYO area of the flower farm.

Book PYO Online, or Just Turn Up

Best to Book PYO Flower Session Online as Places are Limited

To guarantee your place, it is best to book online ahead of your visit. You can just turn up, but places will be limited to avoid crowding the flower patch. To avoid disappointment, it is best to book first.

PYO Flowers FAQ

  • Can I bring a friend? Yes, you can bring a friend or two with you, or your children.
  • Can I bring my dog? No, as there are salad and vegetable crops in the same area as the flowers, dogs are not permitted for hygiene reasons.
  • Is there a cafe on site? No, currently it is just a PYO flower patch. However please bring your own drinks, especially water in hot weather, as the site is completely off grid and relies solely on rain water harvesting.
  • Is there a toilet? There is a composting toilet, you just need to follow some simple instructions to use it correctly.

Things to Remember

  • Drinking water – my water is all from rainwater harvesting so is not safe to drink. Please bring your own drink.
  • Sun protection – the flowers live in a field in full sun
  • Please leave dogs at home – as I grow salad and vegetables on the patch too
  • A clean bucket to take your flowers home in
